We started our walk outside the Insta-famous Bondi Icebergs Club.
The place is beyond beautiful. If you're into the color blue, you'll be taken to visual nirvana once you set your sights on the iconic pool. Salty waves crash and lap their way into the pool on the regular. Offset by the white Bondi Iceberg's Club building and pool deck, the crystalline waters seem to take on all your favorite shades of blue.
Ahead of seeing the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, walking from Bondi to Bronte was at the top of my Sydney bucket list. The promise of sweeping, breathtaking views of the water were enough to get me out of bed early and into my yoga pants. Spoiler alert: the views did not disappoint.
With a forecast that predicted rainy mornings and gloomy afternoons, Annie and I were stoked that we didn't have to dodge raindrops on our trek. Apart from the water, I found the sandstone that lined the walkways to be natural eye candy.
Along the way after Bondi Beach, we hiked through Hunter Park, Marks Park, Gaerloch Reserve before finally landing at Bronte Park.
Next time you're trying to figure out how to spend a Saturday morning in Sydney, I'm urging you to lace up your sneakers and head to Bondi for the walk. Whether you're keen on working up a sweat with a run or simply want to have a lazy stroll soaking up the salty air, this coastal walk is your fix. Bring a friend (or ✌️), so that you have someone to shoot the breeze with.
Let me know in the comments what your favorite Sydney walks are! I hear the Manly to Shelly beach walk is also a dream 😍
