So, I've been living, loving and working in Bali for the past two months. You read that right - Bali. It's been everything your sun-soaked imagination is picturing it to be. Pure sipping-cocktails-by-the-infinity-pool bliss. It's no secret that I absolutely love seaside escapes, so I jumped at the chance to fly over to Indonesia for this opportunity, but more on that in a future post ;)
Several weeks into my stay, I ventured out to Uluwatu. For those not in the Indo-know, Uluwatu is a Balinese surfers' haven that neighbors the Indian ocean. It is known for its cliffside views that'll leave you awestruck and wondering why it took you so long to visit Ulu.
My new-found friends and I made a girls trip out of our visit to the southwestern tip of the island. Though, we didn't put on our wetsuits to surf, we did our part by admiring a lot of the wave riders 🤗
I decided to try my hand at emulating the carefree vibe of Uluwatu when I stepped in front of the camera. Notice how my eyes deliberately avoided the camera's lens. Really taking on to this new candid-posing trend!
One of my favorite haunts around Ulu was this breezy restaurant/bar/beach hangout called Single Fin. The place is too-cool-for-school with their poké bowls and watermelon martini jugs. Speaking of watermelons...
Have you made the trek out to Bali yet? Better yet, Uluwatu?
I couldn't recommend the Bukit Peninsula enough. 10/10 in my heart!
